A Caricaturist at UNIVERSAL STUDIOS/VANITY FAIR in Hollywood, California in the late 1960’s, William Gravestock has since drawn thousands of caricatures. Since the early age of 9 William has reveled in drawing the characters in the comic section of the Sunday newspaper and has honed his craft of character likeness over the past thirty years in a style of his own.
A caricature, one has said, is a “Portrait With A Sense Of Humor.” William’s mentors were Mort Drucker and Jack Davis, artists for Mad Magazine. At the present, William is both illustrator and comic designer for WarCryComix.com and countless other enterprises. William continues “living the dream” of capturing his subjects impeccably in his inimitable fashion and style by signing their personal caricature with his favorite compliment, “There’s Not Another You.”
